Sign Up for the Student Developer Pack

  • Visit the GitHub Education benefits page.
  • Follow the instructions to apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack.
  • Wait for GitHub to approve your application. This process may take some time.

Activate the Free Month

  • Log into Scrimba via your Github
  • If GitHub recognizes your student status, the free one-month option will appear.
  • Click on the lower left "UPGRADE" button.
  • Select a subscription plan
  • Your chosen plan with have a 30-day free trial period.
  • Note: Please check on the checkout modal if there is note stating that you have a 30-day free trial. If this appears, your 30-day free access will be applied.

Troubleshooting

  • Log back in will trigger a fresh request to verify your student status if it's not detecting it.
  • Make sure your GitHub Student Developer Pack is active and correctly linked to your GitHub account.
